update the Nexus theme:
1) log into the “wordpress dashboard” and click the “Envato Toolkit” link on the left side , immediately below the “Contact” link.
2) click the “themes” tab just to the right of the “settings” tab at top left of page

3) select “update automatically” near bottom right
“There is a new version of Nexus available. View version 2.6 details or update automatically.”
3a) click the “OK” popup
your new version will be listed here.
to install the new version of “visual composer”
1) first DEACTIVATE and then DELETE the “WPBakery Visual Composer” plugin
1a) click “Yes delete this plugin”
2) notice at the top, WPBakery Visual Composer will be a recommended plugin. install it there.

3) click ‘install’
4) activate
